From this source:
"Apparently the folks over at the Tajdeed forum have just caught wind of the fact that Apple has opened a new store in Manhattan in the shape of a futuristic cube, and they are not happy about the fact that the cube resembles the Ka'aba and that the store is nicknamed Apple Mecca....
"Muslims see in the name and the design and the activities in the building another new insult on their religion...."

LGF Insults Islam And CAIR
From the May 23, 2006 edition of Front Page Magazine, in an article by Joe Kaufman:
"...Two Sundays ago, an e-mail was sent out by CAIR denouncing the website, Little Green Footballs (LGF) [Go to LGF], for what CAIR said were two threats aimed at Muslims found in the comments section of a blog entry on the site. One of the comments was no doubt a threat. It stated, 'The next time someone in a truckstop or a Starbucks or a library or any public place says ANYTHING even resembling support for the Muslim "cause" WILL be sent to either the hospital or worse. . .just waiting to bash someones face in. no more games." To the website’s credit, the dangerous comment was removed. The other quote, which was a strongly worded statement against the religion of Islam and those the author referred to as 'Muslim savages,' was allowed to stay and was later debated.
"While CAIR proudly displayed the offending quotes and, at the same time, unjustly and irresponsibly labeled LGF an 'internet hate site,' a vital piece of information was missing from the e-mail. The blog entry, from where the quotes came, was an announcement of the death of Daniel Wultz, who had passed soon after waking out of a nine-day coma. The entry was titled, 'US Teen Murdered by Palestinians.'
"Many of the blog comments offered prayers to the Wultz family. Others dealt with the terrorist groups’ reactions to Wultz’s injuries. In an interview with Aaron Klein from World Net Daily, Abu Ayman, a PIJ leader, said, 'Our hero believed in Allah and died while fighting for Allah but your pig was killed in a restaurant in an area full of prostitution.' And Abu Nasser, a leader of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the other group responsible for the attack, stated, 'This is a gift from Allah. We wish this young dog will go directly with no transit to hell.' With comments such as these and others made before them, posters on LGF were understandably upset.
"CAIR strangely left all of that out...."

By the way, Little Green Footballs is a site worth visiting for stories omitted by the mainstream media!

This Is Not a Drill
I hope that this turns out to be a hoax, but I am told that it is not; a few minutes ago, I got a call saying that the news services are reporting that the financial records of every single living U.S. military veteran have been compromised - SSNs, credit card numbers, bank/credit union accts, etc.
Please keep very close tabs on your records if you are a vet; that's 29,000,000 people.
The same reports say that the CIA and FBI are on it; we can keep our fingers crossed that this is a hoax of some sort, but until it is resolved, we need to be on the alert.

What Will Borders Books Do?
On May 17, 2006, Robert Bidinotto reported on another possible dilemma for Borders Books. Read what Bidinotto had to say here.
Synopsis: Harper's Magazine is publishing the offensive MTP cartoons in the June 2006 edition. According to Bidinotto, that issue of Harper's Magazine should already be on the newsstands.
Your might want to check your local Borders Books to see if the magazine is available and thereby insulting MTP.
More "insults" from CAIR. Many of us have read this first article, but here is the excerpt from CAIR:

Incitement: Hitchens Calls Prophet ‘Epileptic Plagiarist’
Incitement: Hitchens Calls Prophet ‘Epileptic Plagiarist’
James Hohmann, Stanford Daily
The West needs to take the threat of fundamentalist, militant Islam more seriously, controversial British commentator Christopher Hitchens told a predominately older audience at the Geology Corner auditorium last night. In an hour-and-a-half program, the liberal-socialist contrarian with a wry British wit and a sharp English tongue offered up barbs against Osama bin Laden, Muslims, liberals and Jacques Chirac. In an at-times rambling, back-and-forth exchange with audience members, Hitchens also denounced organized religion.
“You don’t have to be paranoid, racist or a bigot to take alarm,” he said. “There is a civil war within Islam. We are not in a war on terror. We cannot be at war with an expression.”
Hitchens, an editor for Vanity Fair, described himself as an atheist and issued a sharp rebuke of the Muslim prophet Muhammad.
“Of course, he’s not a prophet,” he said. “He’s an epileptic plagiarist.”
He said the Quran — Islam’s holiest book — was full of “evil fairly tales” that were “unimaginably recycled.”
“It’s a boring plagiarism of the worst parts of Christianity and Judaism,” he added.

Incitement: Robertson Says Islam is "Bloody, Brutal”
Summary: On the Christian Broadcasting Corp.'s 700 Club, host Pat Robertson expressed concern that Americans, "especially the American left," need to "wake up" to the "danger" that Islam presents. Robertson continued: "Who ever heard of such a bloody, bloody, brutal type of religion? But that's what it is. It is not a religion of peace."
On the April 28 edition of the Christian Broadcasting Corp.'s (CBN) 700 Club, host Pat Robertson referred to Islam as a "bloody, brutal type of religion." Following a report suggesting that those who convert from Islam could face hardships and even death sentences in some Middle Eastern countries, Robertson expressed concern that Americans, "especially the American left," need to "wake up" to the "danger" that Islam presents. He said that, in the past, Muslim invaders would kill "an unbeliever" if they would not convert to Islam and that today, "if somebody wants to leave Islam, they're going to kill them." Robertson continued: "Whoever heard of such a bloody, bloody, brutal type of religion? But that's what it is. It is not a religion of peace."
Robertson has frequently asserted that "Islam is not a religion of peace," as he did in the April 28 broadcast. For instance, as Media Matters for America previously noted, Robertson made similar comments on April 24 when he warned his viewers that "we are not listening" to what Islam "says," just as we did not listen to "what Adolf Hitler said in Mein Kampf."
I'm not a big fan of Robertson, but at least he's got THIS issue straight in his head.

Incitement: Threats on Internet Hate Site
The next time someone in a truckstop or a Starbucks or a library or any public place says ANYTHING even resembling support for the Muslim 'cause' WILL be sent to either the hospital or worse. . .just waiting to bash someones face in. no more games.
Islam is evil and must be fought. The only language Muslim savages understand is violence.
Jordanian TV Airs Antisemitic Ramadan Series
For Ramadan 2005, the new Jordanian TV channel Al-Mamnou' is airing the Syrian-produced TV series Al-Shatat ( "Diaspora" ). The series, which was first aired on Hizbullah's Al-Manar TV during Ramadan 2003, purports to tell the story of Zionism from 1812 up to the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948, and, like the Egyptian series Knight Without a Horse that was aired during Ramadan 2002, depicts a "global Jewish government" that is described in the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. It also depicts the notorious blood libel - Jews slaughtering a Christian child to use his blood for Passover matzos. Al-Shatat was also aired by two Iranian channels during Ramadan 2004.
Prior to this broadcast, Al-Mamnou' TV board chairman Walid Al-Hadidi told the Jordanian news agency Petra that the channel would be airing the series. He also told the London Arabic-language daily Al-Hayat that the channel would be broadcasting from several other Arab countries as well as from Italy.
The following are clips of nine scenes from the series, along with the transcripts:
Amschel Rothschild Divides Europe among His Sons
In the series' opening scene, set in Romania in 1812, the dying Amschel Rothschild divides Europe amongst his five sons. To view this clip, visit http://memritv.org/search.asp?ACT=S9&P1=887.
The following is the transcript:
Amschel Rothschild: "All the nations that violate the religion of the Jews originated from the seed of a stinking and filthy ass. Rule them in secret and in public, with strength and oppression through deceit and cunning, and do not allow any nation to share your control of the world...
Pretty standard nonsense from Arab TV, but a must read. Read the rest if you haven't already, it is from late 2005. But a group still feeling horror over a discredited, fake group of papers enough to make a television special about it is, well, part of why we write about them on this site.

This morning, as we were watching the world news, some coverage was being given to Saudi Arabia and the mosques there. We were, once again, treated to that special sound coming from the mosques--the call to prayer.
My husband's comment:
"That sounds like someone is being bitten by a scorpion."

Heah Come Da' Mahdi!
From that Shi'ite collection, Ol' MacMahdi Had a Farm:
Old Mahdi, they said, lived in a well,
Where notes from Ahmadinejad rained on him like hell.
If I ever get out,
I'll piss up his snout,
He said, and get rid of this shi'itey smell.

News 14 Carolina (via Confederate Yankee and Michelle Malkin) reports that Mohammed Taheri-Azar, the Iranian Muslim student who attacked people at Chapel Hill Unversity with a Jeep Cherokee, has now been charged:
Mohammed Taheri-Azar, a UNC-Chapel Hill graduate, also was indicted on four counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and five counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.Like Confederate, I too wonder if Chapel Hill would be willing to stoop as low as providing money for that creep's defense, when there are much better things it can be spent upon, like University security.
Taheri-Azar is accused of driving through the gathering spot, known as the Pit, on March 3, hitting nine people. He has said his actions were in retaliation for the deaths of Muslims throughout the world caused by the United States.
CAIR Feels Insulted
"CAIR Asks Why No Muslim Groups To Speak At Darfur Rally: Lack of Muslim speakers calls into question rally's 'true agenda'":Maybe here's why CAIR wasn't invited:
"(WASHINGTON, DC, 4/30/2006) - The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today questioned why no representatives of major American Muslim groups are listed as speakers at the Save Darfur Coalition 'Rally to Stop Genocide' this afternoon in Washington, D.C.
"CAIR and other American Muslim groups, including the Islamic Society of North America, the Islamic Circle of North America, the Muslim Public Affairs Council, and the Muslim American Society Freedom Foundation, are members of the coalition. But no representative from these, or any Muslim coalition member, is listed on the latest rally program...."
