Barbara Boxer Insults CAIR

Dec. 29, 2006 - In a highly unusual move, Sen. Barbara Boxer of California has rescinded an award to an Islamic activist in her home state because of the man’s connections to a major American Muslim organization that recently has been courted by leading political figures and even the FBI.

Even better:

After directing her staff to look into CAIR, Boxer “expressed concern” about some past statements and actions by the group, as well as assertions by some law enforcement officials that it “gives aid to international terrorist groups,” according to Natalie Ravitz, the senator’s press spokeswoman....

Could it be? Not all Democrats are Dhimmicrats?

Of course, CAIR is using the same old lines of defense:

CAIR has...demanded that she withdraw the action—which one top CAIR official said smacks of “Islamophobia.”...

“We feel that the same crowd who is pushing these smears against CAIR is the same crowd as the neocons that pushed us into the Iraq war,” he says. “They are trying to smear the Muslim community and they are trying to silence its voice. This takes us back to the McCarthy era.”

A Danish group of artists have given their support to Ahmadinejad. They have spent effort to get the following ad into the Tehran Times, a goverment controlled Iranian newspaper in English. It had to pass the censorship.

Exactly. Wonderful isn't?! They actually managed to make fun of the Iranian Hitler wanna be at home. This is ridicule of the highest order. And it is giving me some ideas. Hmmh.

I look forward to the upcoming crisis. Denmark is already the second most hated Western country (Israel is #1), so it can't get any worse.

Stewardess banned from carrying Bible

A second airline is embroiled in a religious row after a stewardess decided to take bmi to an employment tribunal because it refused to allow her to carry a Bible on flights to Saudi Arabia.

The stewardess, who has not been named, claims that she has been subject to discrimination because of her faith.

She is understood to have deep religious convictions and carries a Bible with her at all times.

But bmi, which is the only British scheduled carrier to fly to the country after British Airways pulled out of the route, insisted that it was only following Foreign Office advice.

The dispute has erupted as British Airways seeks to settle its own dispute with Nadia Eweida, a Heathrow check-in worker, who has been banned from wearing a cross on a necklace while on duty.

A spokesman for bmi said the airline was complying with Saudi law and added that the stewardess had been offered the opportunity to switch to working on its short-haul routes. It could not, however, alter its long-haul rosters to accommodate her.

The Foreign Office website informs travellers to Saudi Arabia: "The importation and use of narcotics, alcohol, pork products and religious books, apart from the Koran, and artefacts are forbidden."

A spokesman said last night that the Saudi authorities would automatically confiscate a Bible from anybody trying to bring one into the country and it would not be returned.

A spokesman for Christian Solidarity Worldwide said: "It is worrying that a British company should be instructing its staff to conform to practices which are in violation of international standards on religious freedom.

"The Saudi government prohibits the public practice of other religions and the possession of non-Islamic religious objects has often led to arrests."

Producer Fired!

Last week Clearchannel radio KFYI Phoenix interviewed Iman Omar (Spokesman for the 6 Imans on a plane, defender of Osama bin Laden)of the East Valley Mosque. After Omar was given the opportunity to spew his propaganda regarding American and Islam, KFYI producer Kate O'Neill brought in Islamic expert Mohammed Saeed to set the record straight. Saeed refuted every detail of the Imam's version of Islam and opined that The Jordanian clerics were out to embarrass the American people by claiming to be "Victims" of racial profiling.

The KFYI phones lit up as Arizonans called in the show to voice their views on the matter. "Get out of our country" was the prevalent view expressed by the outraged citizenry.

The controversy over the interview continued all week as KFYI programs were inundated with phone calls from angry citizens. KFYI should have been extremely pleased with the response. Unfortunately the testosterone-challenged management at the station responded to the success of the interview by having a program director on hand during producer Kate O'Neil's shows.....ready to the pull the plug instantly if O'Neill dared to court further controversy by confronting the issue of the Jihad in America.

On Friday December 1st, the KFYI management fired outspoken Kate O'Neill.

So much for an open dialogue with Muslims!
