Must See Video- Dispatches: Undercover Mosque The Ultimate Insult: Planned Mother Theresa Statue Irks Muslims In Albania

The Ultimate Insult

Trying to discover just exactly what the "ultimate insult" to Islam really is.

o  Muslims committed the huge blunder of revealing their vulnerability [cartoon flap]. Now the world knows what hurts them. When you find your opponent’s weak spot, it is exactly where you want to hit him… If Islam is ridiculed publicly and systematically, it will be defeated.

o  Muslim psychology…is all pomposity and bravado. I give you my word that if Islam is ridiculed publicly and systematically, it will be defeated. Shame is a great motivator as well as deterrent. Do not underestimate the power of ridicule. This is serious stuff not a laughing matter…

o  How much ridicule is enough? Until it hurts. The pain of shame must become bigger than the comfort of clinging to this false fetish. When you see their eyes are popping out of their eyeballs, their veins bulging in their necks, foam forming at their mouths, and they are ready to explode, you know that the remedy is working. Give them more. They will either die of heart attacks or they will come to their senses and recover from this insanity.

o  Every one of us must become a cyberwarrior and mock Muhammad, Islam and the Muslims. Use your talent. Draw cartoons based on the hadith and the Quran. You can find tons of ridiculous stuff in these books to lampoon. Write articles, lyrics, jokes, plays, do whatever you can to ridicule Muhammad the prophet pretender and Muslims. Don’t heed to their howls and cries.

Planned Mother Theresa Statue Irks Muslims In Albania

From Reuters:

By Benet Koleka

SHKODER, Albania (Reuters) - Muslims in Albania's northern city of Shkoder are opposing plans to erect a statue to Mother Teresa, the ethnic Albanian Catholic nun in line for elevation to sainthood by the Vatican.

The dispute is unusual for Albania, where religion was banned for 27 years under the regime of dictator Enver Hoxha and where religious harmony and mixed marriages are the norm.

Seventy percent of the population are liberal Muslims, the rest are Christian Orthodox and Catholic.

But Muslim groups in Shkoder rejected the local council plan for a Teresa statue, saying it "would offend the feelings of Muslims."

"We do not want this statue to be erected in a public place because we see her as a religious figure," said Bashkim Bajraktari, Shkoder's mufti or Muslim religious leader.

"If there must be a statue, let it be in a Catholic space."

Several residents told Reuters they felt there was an underground effort to treat Shkoder as a Catholic town, ignoring its majority Muslim community.

Shkoder's Muslims recently protested against crosses being erected on prominent hilltops.

"These acts jeopardise tolerance. Frankly, we're trying hard to maintain religious harmony," said deputy mufti Arben Halluni.

Skender Drini, a Shkoder writer and former diplomat, conceded the statue plan may have come at an inappropriate time.

"(But) if you rise against Mother Teresa, you rise against your own humanism and patriotism," he said.

Shkoder council has taken little notice of the controversy, deliberating a choice between one possible site at the entrance to the city and another near the center.

Born in Macedonia to Albanian parents, Mother Teresa is claimed by both countries. A square in Macedonia's capital Skopje bears her name, while Albania has named its international airport, a hospital, a square and a state medal after her.

Elsa Decka, 53, who said she was a Catholic with an Orthodox husband and a Muslim daughter-in-law, saw no reason why the statue should not be erected.

"Why not? She has done a lot of good for so many people,"" Decka said.

But men in one Shkoder bar said they would prefer a monument to an Albanian fighter who blew himself up in order to avoid being captured by enemy Serbs, or even to two Ottoman-era pashas remembered fondly in Shkoder.

Is there anything which doesn't irk and/or insult these mindless, deluded fools? Winning their hearts and minds seems a futile task. They can't even appreciated Mother Teresa.

Typo alert! "appreciated" = "appreciate"

Maybe the problem is brain damage. They've banged their heads on a hard surface way too often.

I insulted MTP at my site, in the comments to the comic-book article. I publicly stated that MTP is not my prophet and that allah (the moon god) is not my God. There is no blasphemy when the god is a false god and doesn't even exist. Think Baal & Elijah here.

This is a complete insult to the Salaf!!

Even if such a statue can be contemplated, only her eyes could be seen if at all.

In fact the statue should be that of a burqa, blaspheming infidel dogs!

AOW,

"Is there anything which doesn't irk and/or insult these mindless, deluded fools?"

You took the words right out of my mouth!

And your explanation, "Maybe the problem is brain damage. They've banged their heads on a hard surface way too often." sounds beyond plausible - after all, with all that head-banging, they are damaging what? The pre-frontal and frontal lobes, that's what! And those lobes do what? They are the seat of reason, that's what!
